UPGRADING!!!!
Ok boys and girls, I am finally in the market for a new diesel. Im trading up from the 6.0L to the 6.7L. Now there are a few features that I am somewhat picky about. I dont know how i feel about "shift on the fly" 4x4. Has anyone had any problems with it? Ive just always had floor shifting lock hubs, and theyare easier to fix rather than the shif on the fly.
Thats the only feature I really have a question about other than that im just trying to find the 6.7 for me! They are everywhere but with all the features that i am looking for, its making it rather difficult.

ur gunna have to order a truck if u want teh floor shifter 4X4 (which i would do aswell btw).
almost all the trucks come with ESOF these days unless you buy a total stripper truck with ZERO options.
basicly it comes down to the ESOF is to finicky for the convieneince it offers. the floor shifter is simple and always works theres never any question if your in 4WD or not.

The electric shift on the fly will probably do you good for at least a good 5 years. The probably is once it starts giving you fits. I would imagine that it will be hard to fine a loaded truck with manual shift 4x4. I sure it would be fine but I am partial to the manual lever on the floor myself. Pull up and you are good to go.
Good luck with the 6.7 I would love to have one.

Yea. Im not looking for a loaded model, but i want basic stuff like power windows auto lights, cab lights, its gonna be a work/family truck. I dont want one of those ones with the wood inlay in it and stuff, they are nice but not for me. The only luxury i would even accept in it, is leather seats.
