Hello everyone. I'm over from the 48-60 group. I have a 2008 F-150 and I have to change my tail light. How do you get the housing out. I removed 2 screws, but it feels like there is something else holding it tight. Peeked under the bed liner, but it does not appear to help in any way
Remove the 2 screws on the side of the assembly, drop the tailgate to see. Then pull the light assembly out, there will be a bit of resistance but that is normal.
yeah I just changed one of mine for the 2nd time since I have owned my truck. This time there was a lot of resistance. I really had to pull hard. But yeah, remove the two screws and that is all that holds it.
