Tire size for 05 with no lift?

New guy here. I read the fact sheets and saw the list for 16inch wheels but I'm curious about tires for 18inch wheels. I have a 05 F250 Lariat FX4 5.4 Gas. My stock wheels are in good shape and I was really just wanting some more aggressive looking tires, such as the Toyo Open Country MT or Nitto Grapplers. What size tires can I run and are there any pics of trucks with my ride heighth with aggressive tires on this forum? I use my truck mostly for hunting and towing my RZR 4 to some off road parks...sometimes the parking areas get muddy of course. Thoughts, opinions? Thanks.

Hello hus and welcome to FTE.

My tire shop will only mount a 285 tire on a stock rim. Some may go up to 305, but do not be surprised if they tell you 285 is maximum width.

I went with a BFG T/A KO for mud, snow and wet grass traction. They work well, and do pretty wel in dry traction, rain and when towing.

Remember, wider tire with a more aggressive tread pattern will make more noise and reduce your fuel mileage, so do not be surprised.

295/70/18 (35x11.50) Nitto Terra Grapplers, factory wheels, and no lift on my 05.
