fuel pump question

Hello,
Are the mechanical fuel pumps rebuildable or put out for new? This is for 1959, f100, 292.
Thanks for any help or advice.
Al

They're only about $35 to replace. For me, that's not enough financial incentive to do the extra work of rebuilding.
