Greetings. I needed information and specs on putting a DOHC Lincoln Navigator ('99-up) engine into an F150. I know it seems like a pretty straight forward bolt in swap since the chassis are the same (aren't they?), but what I really need to know about is the electronic end of it.
Will I need a new PCM, wiring harness, that sort of thing.

I'm also planning on putting a Navigator 5.4L DOHC engine into my 1997 F150. You mentioned that the computer and harness would be required, but would I have to make changes to the transmission?

I was under the impression that I would also have to get a transmission from a 2WD Navigator. Would the 4R70W transmission that came with my truck work alright with the Navigator engine?

A tuner, or would a diablo chip work? Anyone with knowledge of Diablo chips wanna gimme his $.02? If a diablo chip would work, that would be great...I was planning on eventually getting one anyway.
