Armature plates are the little square plate under the solenoid. You should not be able to spin them with your finger tips.

Alright, I'm on the hpo side now too. Running worse after warming up is a good sign of that. You might as well get that ipr out of there and check it out.

As soon as I finish my coffee, I'm going out and pull the injectors and check the o-rings, or do you think I should start with the IPR?

No, I can get those at Ford though. I guess I could get injector o-rings there too for that matter.

There is something else I keep forgetting to add. The exhaust smells like half burnt fuel very strong and it smokes a bluish smoke at start up, and when it has it's bad missing fits.

Injector orings at ford or IH are 18 bucks an injector.

I know I'm just full of great news.

Well, I think I'm gonna go ahead and pull the injectors. I'll order o-rings from Clay.

I take that back, I'm gonna order injector o-rings and a new IPR from Clay, and when they get here, I'll pull the injectors, do those first, then if the IPR is bad, I'll do it. If it's not, I'll have one on the shelf. I'm gonna put the VCs back on and drive it until the o-rings and IPR get here, I've got to haul some stuff on my big trailer Monday.
