Need spindle nut socket for 1989 4WD F-250
I'm having a hard time locating a tool to get front hub assembly off 1989 4WD F-250. Has manual locking hubs... Even Ford does not stock it... Need a spindle nut socket. Any suggestions? I've checked O'Reilly's, AutoZone, Sears, Ford... I live in the Los Angeles area. Thanks

Some guys have been known to cut one out of hard plastic pipe.
Good luck.

I recently had the same problem - here's the thread: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...uestion-2.html
Bottom line is that some auto parts stores aren't carrying it any more, but any that carry Lisle Tools should be able to get the one I used.

Take the locking hubs out and measure the nut. I just went through this problem and bought a KD Tools spindle nut socket kit that had the "small" socket (around 1-15/16" diameter for the pins) which was the wrong one for my application. The one I needed was This one has a diameter of around 2-3/8" for the pins.
Edit: Both of the ones I'm referring to have 4 pins in the nut.
