Hi. Bear with me please as I give some history.

1995 began to have starting problems. Then I discovered it was leaking fuel. Took it for service and was told that the braided fuel line that connects to the fuel rail (top of engine, center rear) had been punctured by a mouse/varmit. Mechanic had problem finding a replacement as those are normally cut at an engine removal. To his credit he was trying to fix it ($) without purchasing an entire fuel rail kit ($$$). He used some black tubing as his 'fix'. I trust him, what do I know.

Continued to have start problems and one time as driving the engine just cut off, no sputtering, no gagging, just quit. Restart again a problem. This happened 2x, both time it would not restart immediately but after some sitting (~15-60min) it did restart. Got it to mechanic and he replaced the Ignition Module.

Now...leak reappeared from same black tubing when the truck was running. The truck again cut off and the leak stopped. Would not restart.

Now the truck sits at his shop.

Any advice on if that 'fuel line fix' at the fuel rail is the problem and if so does anyone know whow I might find a replacement fuel line for that without an entire fuel rail kit purchase?
