Missing heater parts?

Hello fellow FTEers, my 79 f150 blows good strong heat out the floor vent on the driver side but zero heat gets over to the passenger side floor. Am I missing some kind of vent or deflector? There is just a square hole in the bottom of the heater box about 4"x4". I'm tired of listening to my hunting buddy's complain about frozen feet ha ha ha. But seriously if someone could tell me what I'm missing or show me a picture that would be great. Thanks

Does your truck have factory installed A/C that's combined with the heater? Or a heater with the Hi/Lo Comfort vent system? Or just a heater only?

No air conditioning, just the most basic heater. No dash vents, just floor heat and defrost.

It looks like there should be a vent or something on the bottom of the box. I will try to get a picture and post it if I can.

Thanks again Mike. It's looks like I'm missing 18c306. It's amazing how much stuff can get broken or go missing in 30 years.lol

The part number is D3TZ-18C306-A
Register, heater air distribution
Looks like it's off to the Pic-n-pull, I couldn't find any dealer or obsolete supplier that had one.

If I was at home I could get you one in 2 min off my parts truck or 15 min outa my local JY, but sorry to say I am on the road till right before xmas.

And your hunting buddy (who must be wearing flip flops) will be all kinds of froze toe by then, unless he goes and buys some good hunting boots. lol

If you can't locate one by the time I get back in town, I'll contact you and we can set up a deal, ok?

It's been a nasty winter here so far, that's why I need the old rig ready to go. Lol. Scott send me your e-mail address and I will show you some deer pics from over the years. My friend and his dad both shot mule deer well over 220". Monsters
