crash fuel shut off switch?

Pulling the codes will tell you if any sensor is getting a bad reading. It may not necessarily point you in the right direction. Pull the codes, post them on FTE. Someone will be able to help.

As far as the check engine light, it is quite possible that the bulb is burned out, or someone took it out because they couldn't get it to go out. I've seen both. Examine the dash lights very closely. The CEL should come on with the key on while it does a self check.

your check engine light is in the panel with the headlight switch, if you look you will see a lense panel on the trim panel.

Well you were correct. I removed the tape and the light was NOT on. It did come on when I just had the key in on position and the engine not running.

THANK YOU!!

I am going to try and recall the EEC codes this week-end.

Wish me good luck..
