starter acting up after warm up

So this just started happening, I start my truck in the morning, and fires right up, drive for about 30 minutes go to the gas station, turn off the truck, try to start up to leave, and its just seems like a dead battery, like a starter with no power,it trys to turn the engine but doesnt have the power, Let truck sit for 15 minutes or so, then fires up, a little hesitant though still like a low battery. Battery is fairly new, starter, I have no clue. I know Im getting good charge, Any ideas will help alot , thanks

I had to deal with this a couple days ago with my truck. I have the same year and motor as yours. check all of your battery cables for resistance: your battery cable to the solenoid and to the starter and also the battery ground cable. the cables may look fine but there could be corrosion inside. dont forget to check the clamps for corrosion. i replaced all of my cables because of this problem and because of them looking horrible. i was thinking starter on mine too but after replacing the cables the starter turns over like a new one every time. if not sure if starter is bad or good you can also take it off and bring it to autozone or advanced auto and they can test it for you there.

Agreed. Check your cables first. Make sure they are not corroded and ready to fail. Those factory ends have a bad tendency to corroded INSIDE the end itself. The insulation might look good, but it may be broken inside.
