92 f150 lift kit question
Bought a truck for $1500 while i was home on leave last month. its a 1992 xlt single cab long bed with a 351w, auto and 4wd 157,xxx miles.
I plan on using it for a work/hunting truck and i am going to lift it 6" on 35s. i havent decided on the brand of lift kit altough i have looked at a few (open to suggestions) but i know i will get one with the extended radius arms.
my main question is: with a 6" lift i will need extended driveshafts. does anyone know how long they need to be? or at least some place i could go to find out?
thanks in advance!

Measure your collapsed, extended and ride height lengths after the lift is installed and have driveshafts made to fit. Length will change based off how flexy your suspension is. No way in hell id go off joe blows generic measurements to have new shafts made.
Also, no way in hell you need 6" to clear 35s

If your not looking for all out flex no need for extended arms either.
A 5 inch lift will clear 37s with a 1.5 push forward on the front axle, and a bumper trim.
Just use the front hole in the frame with the rear hole on the radius arm bracket, and drill new holes n your good to go. Just make sure the pivot bolts for the axle halves clear the axle shafts. I had to shave the head down a tad on one. The other was fine. Than a good alignment n your good to go.
