Bolt in HID kits?

Here's the write up I was thinking about earlier. I thought Chase did one too but I can't seem to find it.

Well I went ahead and got some black headlight housing assy's, with clear lenses. I don't think Projectors looks that great on an older truck, I've seen them on some newer trucks, but I think they look great on a sedan or a ricer, they did on my 99 Audi A4 2.5TDI, but it's more of a Euro-tuner thing.
I am just going to be sticking with the stock style headlights, the clear lens should be a plus, I can barely see out of the stock lights!
I am going to put in some 35W 6000k(Diamond white) HID's tomorrow. I can post a picture tomorrow once they are all in.
The ballasts were made by xentec, got the Bi-xenon telescopic HID kit(hi/lo capabilities).
Did anyone run into a problem installing HID's? Blown Fuses, power drain, etc after turning the lights on?

"6000K has an approximately 3200 lm(lumen) output, which is 3x the light output of the traditional halogen light (6000K HID Kits provide a balance of light output and color most find desirable)." Quoted from a reputable HID distributor.
I've found this to be true, some with a 55W conversion notice much brighter white's than blue commonly with a 35W ballast like I have.
But if I ever decide I don't like them, I would go with 5000k at least to mirror a stock color, but have the higher output.
