Just In Time...

Happy Halloween 2012 My FTE Friends!

I didn't mean for this to turn out as long as Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video - My Bad or is it, "Who's Bad?"

Here is the progress on the truck...
It appears that soon I will be driving her to my last few Chemo appointments. Exciting!

Technical video note:
It's not recommended to record and drive
I don't understand how I ended up recording my sneakers
That float inside the fuel tank is driving me crazy. No matter what I do it won't stop clanging... I think I will throw a bit of Dynamat on the tank to see if it helps. Open to suggestions
I need to hurry up and install the passenger door lock kit
Also need to install the door weather seals
Put together the vent window handles
Looking for plates of the 56 era - open to suggestions
Found a 56 rear bumper AND brackets IN TOWN for... wait for it... $60!
Am having it blasted and powder coated to match the front bumper and wheels. Thrilling!!
Meantime, I shall Drive and Enjoy!

Thank You Ross for the compliment and for noticing the broken link.
I fixed it, I think...
And yes, she runs pretty good.

Wow Paul what a beautiful truck! I'm so glad you decided to keep it and have it to drive to and from your treatments. It put a smile on my face and I'm sure it puts one on yours.

Paul, that is one beautiful truck. It's amazing how much quieter it is now.

I want a cut from your first recording session inside the studio/cab.

Very nice work! I watched the whole video with a grin on my face.

Ive got an ear to ear smile right now. I woulnt have beleived the noise difference if I hadent heard it Myself. Paul that truck sounds great, and the detail, the white on the window trim and seat frame, the seat upolsery, the headliner, the carpet, even behind the seat, the white walls, I mean Dude, you have pulled it off, congratsulations. If you dont mind me asking, how much Dyna Mat did you use in total, and how much $ for just the Dyna Mat? Thanks for posting the video it rocks!
