92 f150 4x4 play in steering! What else?

Ok hey guys I have a 92 4wd shortbed when I got it it was all over the road well since then I've replaced ball joints, wheel bearings, skyjacker shocks, dual skyjacker stabilizer kit, tie rod ends, and the drag link and center link I think it's called, and also a remanufactured steering box it got a lot better but still is sloppy granted it is lifted on 38"x 15.50 tires I know it will never be perfect but there is still quite a bit of play in steering so I'm thinking rag joint maybe what else is there and it doesn't have a sway bar either but that's not Gona fix the play tho any ideas?

Yes, check the upper and lower joints on the intermediate steering shaft (under the hood).

Yea ima check it out when I get home from work what should I look for? Should it be tight with no play at all or just very little? If they do need to be replaced where do I get them napa? Or will I have to replace steering column ? Thanks

With steering wheel unlocked, lift hood and grab intermediate steering shaft and rotate to back and forth by hand. Look or play in upper slip joint and the lower gearbox joint. Should be little or none.
You can upgrade the intermediate steering shaft to one with proper universal joints top and bottom but can be pricey. Look on ebay for Borgeson or Flaming River steering shafts.
Even a small amout of play in those joints can have a big effect at the steering wheel.
