2007 F359 6.0 surging problem HELP!
I bought a 2007 F350 4x4 6.0 in Aug, I'm having surging issues with. I changed the fuel filters but it is still doing it. I have no codes, and it runs fine some times then surges. It seems that when it surges it also is a little dead and slow in responding to acceleration. This is not good at the stop light you want to hold that brake frim! It will surg 100 - 300 RPM I would say. Any Ideas? Also I have no gauges just the stock dash gauges and no chips just bone stock and from what I can find, it always has been.
Thanks

Thanks, I hope I have some time this weekend to work on it. I figured it would pop some codes but it doesn't so guess problem is not that bad yet but I'm sure it's headed there if I do nothing. I have a auctron scanner but not sure it's compatable with the 6.0 when I hook it up and look at the data it gives me doubles of everthing. Any good ones to buy that are best for the 6.0?
thanks for you help and I will look at the things mentioned above!

I and many others use the ScanGaugeII which is pretty cheap from Amazon and your local parts store... even cheaper is a tool like Torque for the Android. There are other tools out there that can do even more, like AutoEngenuity, but they cost more.
That sounds exactly like a problem I had which was fixed by replacing the ICP sensor. It determines how much oil pressure to send to the injectors which, in turn, determines how much fuel gets into the chamber.

Well looked at it and wiggled wires around some of the sensors mentioned here but could not recreate the problem she is running fine and behaving herself for the last 4 or 5 days. I did find a right front axle seal out, oh the fun! Also found I need to press the bushing back in the control arm. The bushing looks fine just not seated properly letting the arm hit the bracket and make some noise. I guess all I can do is fix what I found and hope the surging has stopped. Thanks for your help to this point will post more if the surge comes back. Thanks to all for helping out here.
