Oh ok, wasn't sure which day you actually took off. What's with registering a camera? I haven't heard of that... but I haven't been to Europe since 1997.

I took the Dulles - London/Heathrow flight a couple times when I was working over there. I liked that one since it wasn't too long, I think it was only around 6 hours in the air.
We take off at 1815 hrs and land at heathrow at 0620. Leave heathrow at 1015 hrs for a landing at tegel at 1300 hrs. As for registering the camera with customs. It means you wont have to worry about paying taxes on it if they dont think you bought in teh states before you left.
