Well no response to my add yet.. The good news though, we should have no more theft here shortly, with all the new ***** that soon can be collecting from the goverment, not even the thieves will have to work..I am guessing 55% collecting in the next year..
Well that is not how I wanted to wake up. Hopefully I can make it for the next 4 years, correct that, hopefully we can all make it for the next 4 years.
I'm indifferent about it....the tax changes raises are not going to affect my household as my wife and I are lowly public school teachers and barely break $100K. No estate tax, no capital gains whatsoever.
I'm interested in seeing how the health care will pan out....I have a special needs daughter with a seizure disorder that requires a lot of medical attention. Any help I can get from the feds will be greatly appreciated as BCBS has taken a dump on us.
I'm sorry to hear that Jimmy. Hopefully things won't be as bad as I think they will be. Some more bad news is that I'm trying to sell my house and because of the need to fund Obama care, I will have to pay sales tax on it.
We are trying to refinance our home...we haven't been able to as we owe more than the home is valued. Plans are helping some families, just not all of them.

my wife is a teacher as well, and we use her BCBS benefits (historically tough to beat), and there were some changes to our plan real recently too. our daughter will make her arrival in the next 3 weeks, so i am praying it doesn't totally tank.

BCBS is pretty good...unless you have any type of ailment that requires medical attention. My daughter requires meds everyday for her seizure disorder. She began having seizures at 6 months old and continues to have them, she turns 4 in Feb. The doctors feel the meds are limiting her seizure activity, but she still has them and for the past 8 months, she has had one every 29-31 days. It's like clockwork, We can almost predict them like the phases of the moon(which incidentially, we checked to see if there's a correlation between the two and found that she has them 2-3 days after a full moon). Explain that, because the doctors are completely baffled.
At any rate, her meds used to be $10 copay every 3 weeks. Now, its $40. When she was hospitalized, we had to cover $50 for each visit, now we pay up to $2500, then BCBS kicks in. She also takes medicinal marijuana which is not covered by BCBS. I digress...sorry, I'm getting upset again just thinking about it.
