Selling Kohler's is the hardest thing I've ever done, because everybody has it beat into their brain that Generac is good, because it is the top selling brand. It is the top selling brand because of marketing, and low price, and nothing else. And then when you question Generac people about the high failure rate, they say "well, we have the most units out there, of course we have the most failures." But in reality, it is the percentage of them that fail that is the statistic, not the overall number. OOOOOH GRRRRRRR it makes me so mad that these chitsticks even have a market share.

I can see how that could get under your skin. That's true about most things if you can find a way to sell things people WILL buy it. And that's where they ( Generac) shine. I see their ads all over the place.

The Transit Connect is going away for a while. It's being donated to a shade tree effort to give aid to the families of Rockaway, NY. It will be used as a transport vehicle to bring donated supplies from here to there, and also used to deliver from the staging area, directly to neighborhoods. Oddly enough, they are asking for donations of snow shovels, in preparation for the impending nor'easter.

Brendon, that's very nice of you to do, hope it will get some good use!

Jim, I was expecting to be outta work by 12, and on the mountain bike by 1, but we didn't finish until 3:30, no biking for me today, work again tomorrow, setting a big blue stone mantle and a few other things.
