PAt I also dont try to rush anywhere. I leave early so I dont have to rush to get to work. But I see way to many people driving way to fast for the road they may be on and they are talking or texting. MD it is illeagal to use a cell phone while driving. You can only talk if you are using a bluetooth or other hands free device.

Yeah, I see idiots all the time texting. That's why I want the train horn, I'll scare the crap out of the texters, or block out the people talking on their cell, they won't be able to hear!!

The car the girl was driving didnt fare any better Rob. And I agree they dont think at all about others on the road. I give tractor trailers a wide berth because my cousins father drives OTR for a living. I know first hand they like having a good cushion around them for safety , My dad rides scooters. I give any one on a motorcycle,scooter, or bicycle a good bit of room as well so they have room to react to an issue they need to be concerned with. But I guess I just know how to pay attention to others.

RE texting-phones: Shortly after NY passed the no use of cell phones while driving, a NY State Trooper crashed into a house near by. Was on a phone and missed the curve. Admitted he was distracted. 2 weeks afterwards a Seneca County, NY Sheriff hit a barn while on the phone.
