Unhappy Sad News...

My Grandpa unfortunately passed away last week. He was 95, so we should all live so long. Anyway it's been a rough weekend...

He and Grandma were the original owners of my truck, and while I won't go so far as to say the restoration is now in his honor or anything, everytime I drive it or work on it or even look at it the memories will be that much stronger...

Jeffh, I'm really sorry to hear about your loss.
I know exactly what you are talking about. Every time I look at my truck it reminds me of my father. It seems strange but I almost feel he is with me as I work.

Jeffh

At 95 it was indeed a long life.
I'm sure that along with the Ole' truck you have many other fine memories. When working on the truck or crusing down the highway invite them along for the adventure.
My Dads been gone since 82 yet he helps me out on my Panel all the time, some times he just sits there and watches.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate it. The good news is that I was able to spend Mother's Day with my Mom (and rest of family) for a change...

Jeff,

Sorry for your loss, but remember, we never really own these old cars, we just keep them around so someone else could enjoy them later.

Condolences regarding your recent loss. He had a nice, long life and hopefully you'll enjoy the same. Sounds like your heart is in the right place: he IS there with you as you cruise along in that truck. And he is proud....

Jeff,
Please accepty my sincere and deepest sypathy. I know when you lose a grandparent even though they may have lived a long and full life, it sure doesn't make your loss any easier.

It is really nice that you have something that will give you years of happy memories!
Your grandfather will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks again guys, I appreciate it. I would have replied sooner, but this past weekend was at my Brother's bachelor party in New Orleans. Yep, it's been a crazy month...
