Different Windshield Seals?

I'm in the process of ordering a weatherstripping kit for my "78" F250. I've noticed that JBG lists two different kits, one for 73-76 and one for 77-79. The only difference I see is the front and rear glass seals. My problem is, I'm not sure what year my cab is. I bought it by itself to replace the original cab. So my question is, are the seals THAT different that one seal can't be use in place of another? I really don't want to spend 200+ dollars in a seal kit and not be able to use 2 of the main seals. Here are the links to the kits:

I believe the only diff is if your truck's windshield has the large chrome molding or the small molding.
Large molding just about covers the entire gasket and the small is about a 1/2 inch wide and is recessed into the gasket.

Rear glass will have trim or no trim.

The difference in the windshield and rear window weatherstrip is the moulding or lack of moulding.
From '73-mid '77 the windshield and rear window either came with no moulding trim or the "wide" stainless steel moulding. Generally the lower trim levels came with no moulding, just the rubber gasket around the glass. You could also have moulding on the front and none on the rear and vise-versa. In mid 77 the moulding design was changed from the stainless to a narrow plastic strip. Again, the lower trim levels were more likely to have no trim.
There are three different gaskets, generally classed as 73-79 "no trim", 73-mid 77 "wide trim" and the mid 77-79 "narrow trim".

Here are the three different versions. The first is no moulding, the second and third are wide moulding and the fourth is the narrow moulding.

Excellent info guys. Looks like I'll be going with the 77-79 trim seal. Glad to know the seals themselves aren't different, just the trim is. Thanks for the quick replys.

Do yourself a favor and get them from Carpenter. My dad bought some from another vendor and they do not fit. The carpenter one fit perfectly
