Power window lock switch - window function

Question on the power windows.

I would like to figure out a way to lock out ONLY the rear windows. I carry my dogs and if the back switches are active they can step on them and shut their heads in the window. (ugh)

I can lock out ALL the windows but then the wife can't control her own window (if she isn't driving). If SHE can't control her window then she starts controlling ME! You guys can see where I am going with this.

First option MIGHT be to just disconnect the controls in the rear doors, assuming that if they are disconnected from the switch that the windows still run from the front controls.

A better option would be to remove the OEM locking function from the passenger door while retaining it for the rear doors.

Anyone have any ideas how that can be done?

Thanks in advance....
