any good leads on some good covers?

You only want to do the rear, it's what needs the cooling. Aluminum on the front, not so great. Try auto parts resellers from wrecking yards, compare to buying over the counter. I believe the 6.4 almost all got the aluminum covers. There are also some aftermarket you can buy at parts stores. I haven't bothered here where it's mostly so cold, it's not an issue for me. If you are dong max towing frequently I can see some benefit though.

I have seen the ford aluminum finned cover on Ebay for like $50...

They didn't put em on the 12's for some reason. Guess they didnt figure they needed em

I think the rear end was determined to not get as hot as they thought it would in the 08-10's.

I'd switch though if you tow long distances and tow pretty heavy. Especially in the hotter climates.

im good without the composite pan (unless is had a threaded drain plug somehow, but thats neither here nor there) but im kinda wanting the aluminum covers now. anyone know about Mag-Hytec covers? they seem like the ticket...
