1963 F-100 Clutch Z-bar Piviot Broken

I have a 1963 F-100 I6 3 speed on the column. I need the engine side z bar pivot. I think that the pivot stud is factory attached to the bracket. My pivot is broken off at the bracket. Does anyone know where I can find one of these?

You asked this same question yesterday in another thread. I answered it, explaining that the part numbers in that thread were related to 1965/66's, since the OP has a 1966 F100.

Here's the info again:

C1TT-7A572-E .. Clutch Equalizer Bar Pivot Assy-Engine side / Obsolete

Applications: 1961/64 F100/250 223 I-6 2WD / No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

I was able to find (4) of the 4WD pivot assy NOS: C1TT-7A572-J / The pivot itself is the same diameter as the bushings are the same.

And (not listed in the other thread) there are (6) C4TZ-7A572-A available NOS, the pivot for F500/750's. Pivot same diameter as the bushings are the same.

You may be able to cut the pivot and a piece of the bracket off one of these, weld it to yours. Otherwise, you're up the proverbial creek without a paddle.

Forgive the duplicate post, I'm a new participant...

If you bought it from Bob in Riverside CA, I'll be amazed if it's the correct part!

Piviot Broken

I'll do some research to see if it's the same thing and if the part from Bobsf100.com doesn't work I'll get in touch. Thanks!

223 I-6 varmit applications listed in post 2. If the varmit is from a 292, it's not the same / 1957/63 CD catalog available from hipoparts.com for 22 bucks, minus a nickel.

I have the bound paper catalogs, so cannot loan you a CD to download into your 'puter like I did for misc passenger cars and 1964/72 truck. You returned them promptly, when I loaned them to Dave, he took over a year to return them.

Bob has a lousy reputation when it comes to selling parts, several FTE members have complained. One example that I recall is from the 1948/56 forum:

Member in Australia bought headlamp parts for a 1956 F100, cost him 300 buckaroo's not including shipping. All the parts were not only wrong, but were rusted beyond belief.

When the member contacted Bob, he refused to take the parts back.

wow...thats lame O if ever I heard of it Bill...karma though...

As to the pivot...thats what I thought as I know the 240/300 pivots screw into the block...never hurts to throw it out there though...
As to the parts cd's...a great investment and I know a few on here have them...prolly because of you steering them to hipo's site..

its nice to finally relax on here...been a hellaciously busy crazy week...

223 engine side pivot is made as part of a bracket that bolts on (Illustration Section 75, Page 1). 240/300 pivot threads on as it's a stud.

Weasel went home last Tuesday, so "She who must be obeyed" and I and the 5 Bassets can relax. What's happening with the Toyopet?

Speaking of 1963 F100 zbars,
I can't find the bushings for it anywhere. Tried Obsolete, LMC, NPD and C&G. Any suggestions?

Waaa, ma-ma, oh woe is me, what shall I do, I can't find them.

AVAILABLE from Ford! Most, if not all the of the repop sellers have them. These are not the nylon bushings used on 1965/79 F100/350's (also available from Ford).

4) C2TZ-7517-A .. Clutch Equalizer Bar Bushing / These are split metal bushings, takes two per e-bar pivot.

Applications: 1961/64 F100/750 / 1965/72 F500/750 / 1970/89 LN600/800 / 1973/89 F600/880.

MSRP each: $3.33 // FTE sponsor tousleyfordparts.com price each: $2.20.

But, Tousley is located in MN, so the discount price will be nullified by the shipping charges to CA

Whiz over to Heller Ford, get them there (they'll have to order them, no extra charge) if the "brain trusts" at C&G don't have them.

EDIT: MIRAMAR FORD TRUCKS in San Diego has FOUR = 858-450-0707.
