Bed Cover..Hard Top? Roll up? Where to go?

I'm thinking of a bed cover for my F350 LB..was thinking of a fiberglass hard top painted to match the truck..Any suggestions in Nor Cal bay area or Sac?

Then I was thinking roll up. ??

Please tell me what you have, what did it cost and where to get the best prices.

Thank you in advance,
Mike

My friend had a Truxedo roll up on his 01 Ranger beat on it pretty good, it was nice. As far as finding it local, idk. They have prices on their website. Again good prices locally idk. Hopefully this helps, just my opinion. Depends what you use your truck for. My friend use to haul a lot of auto parts frequented picknpull.

I hands down suggest ******** out of L.A. They are far superior in quality to all the others. I have one on my 96 and they will drop ship it right to your door. Unfortunately before I bought it I ordered a Snugtop for the same truck. The Snugtop appeared to have been taken out of the mold prematurely and had an upward arch. Because of this the cover would not seal let alone even touch the bedrails. They refused to replace the cover under warranty, so I returned it and bought the ********. Couldn't be happier.

I bought the tri-fold unit on EBay. ($229) It folds out of the way so that you can carry big items. The hard tops limit you on what you can fit in the back. Jag

mike- i had a fiberglass top for mine and i miss it dearly. i bought it for about 325 on craigslist then i sold it about a year later for 350. i loved it. great for storing all sorts of things under in my bed. big enough to camp in too. i recommend that option vs. the roll up or tonneau style cover. i'm always on the look-out for another one. good luck in your choice.

Mike, did you make a purchase or a choice yet? i'm curious to know the route you ended up taking. ...and what you paid for, if you got a fiberglass top... if you don't mind my asking.

I haven't purchased anything yet. I'm leaning towards a hard top, painted to match...prices I've been quoted is in the 1600.00+ area..so I'm not rushing out to spend that much.
I'll probably get serious after the holidays when the hemorrhaging of money slows down.
Thanks,
Mike

I like the hardtop covers as they are better in wet weather. I opted for an automatic roll up though as I am a spontaneous buyer of large items and the hard cover posed a problem in that area. The roll up keeps out about 95% of the rain but I had to sacrifice one way or the other. LOL
