A freind of mine has advised me to get a better radiator hose. He was a Ford mechanic for 50 years and says mine has wire inside and are not a bery good quality hose. So my dquestion is what do guys reccomend that I buy. What brand do you like?

Wire inside: Universal corrogated "fitz-all" flex hose. Some are so stiff, they can tear the necks from the radiators.

But, what are you going to replace it with?

Ask your 50 years of Ford experience mechanic what the original 51A-8333-B 'cut to fit' radiator hose looks like and what's moulded into the rubber.

Inquiring mind of 41 years of Ford parts experience retired Ford partsguy wants to know. If I hadn't retired in 1997, I too would have 50 years of Ford experience

Where did "50" work at dealerships in CA? Heck, I might know him, if in LA LA Land.
