1969 f-250 camper special

Hello to everyone here.new here and trying to find my way around here.i have two questions i hope some can help me with.first is that i just bought a really nice 1969 f-250 camper special and i found someone with a used softopper for sale.this softopper came off a 2006 f-150 with 8 foot bed.i called softopper to ask if this would fit on my 69 f-250 with an 8 foot bed and they could not give me an answer.so if anyone has a 2006 f-150,could you please give me the inside bed rail measurement, and measurement from front of the bed to the tailgate.if the measurements are way different between the 2006 and 1969, the frame of the softopper that bolts to the inside of the bed rails will not fit.my second question is,my tires are 235/85/r16.this maks for a hard ride.can anyone suggest another alternative tire size that i could replace these with since i will not be doing any heavy hauling.i would appreciate any input and thank you.scafflebird
