1967 dash bezel

Howdy all! I'm looking for a 1967 F100 dash bezel. Want the original, not a repro or a dash panel. My '68 has the original plastic bezel and I want to see if I can mount a steel '67 bezel instead. All my gauges and wiring are good, just want to trade out the plastic for steel. I know I can get plastic in any number of catalogs. Also, if numberdummy, or any other old-schooler would give an opinion on how well this will work, I'd be much obliged. My '68 has no power nothing and has the standard gauge pattern (fuel, speed, alt, temp, etc.) I have yet to get to the scrap yard to look for one. I know that's the obvious route. Looking for opinions and possibly someone has one they'd be willing to part with.
Thanks,
Joe

'67 was the first year of that style bezel. Nothing steel about it. Looks just like any '67-72 dash. Only option was idiot lights or gauges.

Only pic of my '67 is the back side:

Wrong, I have one in my hand; it is steel. After 67 they went to plastic.

1967 dash is 1967 only, as is the radio, heater, ash tray. 1967 instrument cluster back is 1967 only, there are two types: With oil/amp gauges (C7TZ-10848-B) / With oil/amp warning lamps (C7TZ-10848-C).

1968/69 F100/350's use different instrument cluster backs than 1967. Again, there are two types, with/without oil/amp gauges / 1970 and later F100/350's have printed circuit boards.

C9TZ-10876-A (replaced C7TZ-10876-B & C8TZ-10876-A) .. Plastic dash bezel: 1967/1968 F100/350, 1969/72 F100/350 except Ranger/Ranger XLT.

C7TZ-10876-B .. 1967 only Instrument Cluster Bezel, (3) available NOS, but since the 1967's instrument cluster backs are 1967 only, you cannot use the bezel on a 1968/69.

It may not have been, since C8TZ-10876-A plastic replaced C7TZ-10876-B steel in 1968 and C9TZ-10876-A plastic replaced C8TZ-10876-A plastic in 1969.

FoMoCo is in-famous for replacing 10's of 1,000's of part numbers EVERY YEAR!

This is the reason why peeps should not go by part number prefixes to ID what vehicles the part fits or what year it fits.

This changing numbers crap has been a PITA for decades. The IDIOTS have taken over the asylum.

The ol truck was pretty unmolested, so I can't believe someone switched it out? Maybe they did for some unknown reason?? Who knows the history for the first 40 yrs of it's life? Heck, maybe it was steel and I don't recall? I was ALOT younger then LOL!!! (even if it was only 5 yrs ago).
