need help with 47 coe vin locations
Im in the process of trying to register my 47 coe. I had the mvd people look at it and they stated i need 2 vins. I have the one thats on the glove box plate, but need to try and find another cant locate on on the frame. Any words of wisdom?

Normally the VIN is on the left side frame member near the area of the steering box, but the COE is different.
On my 41 COE, the VIN is on the top of the front member below the radiator. It is difficult to see while the radiator is in the truck. May need a wire brush and some elbow grease to see it. I haven't looked on my 47 as that front frame member is hidden by the radiator. I spotted the VIN in my 41 while the radiator was out. Since that frame member is the same on both trucks, I'd guess the VIN is there in my 47 too.
If you have the original 4 speed transmission, there is a VIN on the top front of that too. It's near the inspection plate.
I've never seen one in the glove box area. But my glove box door and the cardboard "box" are both missing.
