Vent visors, who has em?

Looking for a set of the in-channel ones. Any brands I should get/stay away from?

Also, just curious if they make them for above the rear cargo windows. No real point, just curious.

Bought the dark tint ones from autosport catalog.
Nice easy install, but lost one 2nd row visor with window
open on highway... fronts won't come out though.

I bought mine from Weathertech. Excellent quality. Made in USA. They fit inside the channel. The only problem is the rear doors are held in with pressure sensitive tape. They rattle when the windows are down and you are driving on a bumpy road.

I hate the stick ons lol.

How are the fronts held in? I have some In channels on my hhr and both front and rears are held in with tape, and never had an issue. But I put them on pretty much when the car was new so there prally wasn't much dirt and stuff in the channel and possibly got a better stick

I have weather tec & have had a front/rear blow out on real windy days,
with the windows part way down. I was able to order just the front and/or rear set.

I have Weather Tech on the EX... made in Germany. Their adhesive tape sucks. Had one of the rear shades fall off. Called Weather Tech to see if I could buy a replacement. They only sold them in sets of two. So bought two rear shades. Two days later the other side just fell out. Fronts are loose.

I have AVS on my Explorer and my dog broke a rear one. Had his head out the window and when he pulled back in collar caught and broke it. Called AVS to see if I could buy just one... told them what happened... they sent me free a whole set for the Explorer.

My money goes to AVS when the Weather Tech finally falls out off.

I looked for awhile. I had them on my last Ex, don't remember what brand, one of the rears did come off after several years. I just bought a set of
Wade vent visors on Amazon Wade vent visors on Amazon
for $58. They look good, fit good and installed easily. I did take extra time to prep (clean with alcohol). They come with a couple of alcohol pads, not at all adequate. I got out a bottle of alcohol and Q-Tips etc. and cleaned the channel well before install. I also followed the directions by putting the front windows up and down five times before leaving up for 72 hours. You do need to manually help the windows up during that process so they seat well and don't damage your window motor. Now, I haven't had them too long and haven't tried to pull them out or anything, but they seem to be good. Here are a couple of bad pics.

I've got the weather tech, but here's a suggestion. Get the 3m body panel 2 sided tape from the autoparts stores. Then use the tape on rears in place of their factory cheap stuff, and in the channel just next to side mirrors on front windows. No falling out.
