Your 04 Ford ICP part number has one too many "A"'s. See post 82.

You Did NOT have to pull the Turbo

But Since you did its WAY Easy now just use a Cresent wrench to get it out

If Pigtail wire insulatiopn is Bubbling and bad replace pigtail

If just has oil on it clean pigtail with Carb Cleaner good and should be OK

If you go here:h t t p://www.am-autoparts.com/Ford/F250-Truck/FuelPressureRegulato/AM-828947014/636005.html
you will find a list of compatible ICP numbers. Your number and mine are both listed.....

Plug both numbers in on Tousley Ford or Sunrise Ford site (or call your Ford dealership) - see what they have listed. It is only the Single A number. I have found that quite a few sites have typo's w/ numbers. Since these are Ford dealerships, I tend to believe them, but hey - maybe your web site knows something the others don't, who knows ........

With 4C3Z-9F838-AA plugged in:

http://sunrisefordparts.com/parts/in...&siteid=217486

The site above finds a AA part, but for $2, that isn't it

http://www.tousleyfordparts.com/part...&siteid=214771

The site above does not find the part. Same story at other on-line Ford dealership parts departments (bluespringfordparts, fordparts.com, fordpartsgiant, etc).

Now, with 4C3Z-9F838-A plugged in:

http://www.tousleyfordparts.com/part...&siteid=214771

http://sunrisefordparts.com/parts/in...&siteid=217486

btw, your link did not work for me.

I didn't post my numbers to start an arguement w/ you. These are the numbers I have in my list. I put a disclaimer at the top stating my reservations with its accuracy.
The link needs to have the spaces taken taken out of the HTTP. The link was posted for its info, but this is the internet and who believes anything they read on the internet?

I am not arguing with you. When folks are looking for an ICP sensor and a part number leads a person to a $2 sensor listed in a Ford dealerships parts system, then there is a problem. I don't want people buying the wrong part .........

I did "drill" my way to the part number on the site you listed and it is there, so I am not questioning you ....... I am questioning the accuracy of your referenced site though.

In the end, as long as enough information is here for people to make a choice, I know that is all I look for from a good internet forum!
