Running wires under carpet? 2012 F 250

I want to run a couple of wires from the Upfitter Switches to the left front underside of the bed. I understand that there are rubber plugs in the front and rear of the lower corners of the crew cab.

I would like to run the wires along the side under the carpet from front to rear. So how does one remove the inside moldings to be able to get wires under the carpet?

Hopefuly someone here has conquered that challenge and is willing to share.

I think the alternative would be to find the plug in the right front corner and run the wires exposed under the cab if necessary.

thanx

guy I knew showed me how to yank straight up and they pop off.

was able to fish the wires through the rest of the paneled areas and out the rubber plug in the back.

Post back up if you have any other questions about running wires. I still have a pretty good idea of all the nooks and cranny's you can get wire into from my stereo project.

Adventure Rider is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I don't know if you are planning to do this but it is good practice to run along other wire harnesses to keep clean and neat and at the point of exit from the cab it would be good to encase the wires to prevent chaffing
