does anyone out there know what ford recommends about the mileage interval for changing the timing belt on a 99 Ranger with the four cyl 2.5L engine? Thanks
60K? If the timing belts on the 99's and 2000's are the same then it's 110K. I'd check it before then, though, just to make sure. Definately don't want that thing breaking... They tend to leave a mess.

The 4 cylinder in the Ranger is a "non interference" engine, meaning it won't bend valves if the timing belt breaks....The
worst that will happen is it leaves you stranded.......
