Red Flashing Car Lock Dash Light

My 2007 Expedition is disabled with the above flashing dash light.

I changed the drivers side rear tire and put the spare on. When I was done the Expedition was disabled with various flashing dash lights.

The starter just clicks when you turn the car over. I disconnected the battery terminals and put them back on but no change.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

David

David,
Have you checked to make sure battery isn't dead. Have you tried jumping it ? Maybe there just isnt enough charge left to start.

Is the key correct and programmed for the vehicle ?

Matt

I will try jumping it now. I didn't think of that with the coincidence of changing the spare.

I am using the same key that I have always had.

Thanks, Matt. I will post again for results.

Thanks!

That did the trick Matt!

The coincidence of this happening while I changed the tire threw me for a loop and I never thought that it would be the battery.

I really appreciate your help!

David
