Nitto 295/65/20's

I did the Nitto's today. Love the look. Stock wheels, stock height truck.

Here are a couple of pics

I'm going to put the same tires on my F250. I'm adding 4in blocks and a 2 in leveling kit for the front. How's the noise? Can you add a couple more pics. Thanks

Here are a few more pics.

The last one is of a guy doing a burnout in a scooter at our last car cruise.

They are quieter than I thought they would be. I only had it up to about 60-65 today. You know they are there, but not that bad.

Have about 20K miles on mine. Mostly hwy miles with some dirt/rock/gravel roads. Like the tires but on the dirt and gravel roads they threw a lot of rocks and pitted my rocker panels pretty good. Only mud they saw was one time launching a watercraft at the lake. Next set I am considering the Terra's to see if the MPGs are better and the noise is less.

Hey Tux,
I was going to buy more for the look than anything. Most of my driving is city and hwy. I do camp a lot but these tires aren't needed for that. I was on the fence between the BFG 285/65/20 or the Nitto 295/65/20. I thought those tires were my best option for stock wheels. I'm a perfectionist and wanted the right look and a tire that would wear good so I'm not wasting my money. What's your opinion?

I too am a perfectionist and was after the look. and they do look amazing. but after 25k miles in 6 months, and wear and tear that i would really have preferred to avoid, its gonna be about efficiency on the next set. not that i regret what i have, but more of a been there done that kinda thing. im still on the fence, as i really like the tire tho. and i still have a good amount of wear left on the trails

I messed up and got the 55 and my speedo is reading 5mph too fast. If anyone else is shopping for tires and reads this make sure you stick with the 65 size.

I have 26,000 miles on the trails and they are wearing well. I expect to get to 50,000 based on what I see now.

And I also was after the look and fun factor. It's really fun to be able to pull anything just about anywhere with these tires. But,, economy will probably rule my next tire purchase.

oh yeah, i forgot about the speedo thing. Cant complain too much as it reads approx 1-2 mph off at around 60-65. the faster i go the greater the error. so because the speedo is slow, the odo also reflects less mileage than actually traveled.

Nitto Trail Grappler 35 x12.50-20

This weekend I got a set of Nitto Trail 35x12.50 2o's on a stock 2011 king ranch and I love them. No rubbing. they look great, you can hear the hum of the tire but it is not overwhelming or distracting at 70 on the freeway.
