New 6.2 F250
Just wanted to say hi, I have read all the postings from others (great help) to get a feel for the 6.2, this is the best site for info, and just bought my 2015 F250 6.2 crew 4x4. xlt, 3.73's, camper package and 5th wheel plate from Ford. After maxing out any payload on the 150's I was building, I quit beating my head on the wall and came to what was right in front of me, F250 dah.
Impressions so far, simular power band of my old 2012 F150 5.0, just more consistant, everyone is correct, locking out 6th in the hills stops the gear hunting. In town, it remains in 5th at 40mph, never wants to go into 6th, which is good. 11.9-15.9 so far, cold weather warm up does not help.
5th wheel or pull type camper next year is in our future.
Thanks to all, well done.
