Grill and Fender Mounting Clips
http://s913.photobucket.com/user/montego_gto/library/
Hi all,
I'm looking for a source for the the clips that mount the grill assembly to the front splash apron. I know i can use "U" clips but they're not the same because they hold the panels apart a bit. Anyone know of a good source? Stainless would be cool but not necessary.
I'm also in need of those studs-mounted-to-a-sheetmetal-piece that fit into a slot on the inside, rear portion of the front fender. They bolt the fender to the cowl. The nuts are spun onto the stud from inside the truck. Is there a suitable replacement that you guys have used?
Thanks all,
Nick in WI

Nick Those clip bolts have been a topic of discussion.
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...ment-clip.html
Most of use sourced them through used/donor parts.
good luck let us know if and where you find them.

Thanks Wally for the help. I'll be going to the salvage yard tomorrow to pull some fenders...
Here's another clip - mainly used to attach the grill and valance panel. Does anyone have a source for these too?
