Mild engine mods?

I'm looking for a winter project to get me through the boring winter months, and i have a spare 460 sitting around, that i was planning on droppiing into my truck come spring anyway. So, i am asking if there are any moderately priced upgrades i could get done to the motor itself through the winter? never done anything like this, so im new to it.. Thanks to anyone
