I need to replace my 5.4L in my 03 F250 SD. I am looking at used motors at the local yards and also craigslist. I have my eye on a low mileage (70K) motor out of an 04 Navigator but am not sure if they are the same etc.
What are the years that are a direct swap vs those needing alterations?
Also are motors in F150's the same?
I know there are 2v and 3v motors and gather mine is a 2valve. Any benefit to a 3v?
