for sale is my 76 crew cab short bed track , in good restorable shape no rust , desert truck , the bed floor is dinged , cab is straight with few dents here and there. manual trans . asking 3000 will take offers .
i had in mind to put this in a 01 f250 4x4 crew cab short bed frame so if anyone is interested i also have this for grabs as a rolling frame ,but not included in this sale.
its got dana 60 in front and sterling 10.5 on the back , typical 01 f250 diesel setup. this truck is 150 wheelbase and the super duty frame is 155 , my plan was to mount the cab on it and chop a long bed to fit .
i also have a 78 cew cab sb 4wd frame ,but i thought it was flimsy for a diesel engine.
True...but I don't know...for all the abuse we've put our old '79 though, frame is still solid.
Wish I could pull the trigger on this, but not happening right now.
I'd be content just swapping over my 9" and Dana 44 out back, and swap over my plow mount and 4x4 running gear on that crew cab.
