Yet Another Highboy Build...

Well, as we now the Highboy's steering setup was not the greatest, so I've been working on a way to convert to a 2wd Saginaw gear on the outside of the frame to run a crossover setup. I'm also contemplating whether or not to use a 1980-1996 Ford gear and mount it to the inside of the frame. From what I have researched both gears are pretty stout and have plenty of aftermarket available to them. I have boxed the inside of the frame rail and I am going to run DOM tubing through both sides to insure strength. What is your opinions on the steering gear I should usePhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket

Keep us posted!
I think that is the best steering for the Highboy trucks, saginaw is the best.
I have the 2wd box, and its not great.
