HELP!! Rebuilt my v10. no power

Okay everyone. First post here but ive used this website for help in the past.
I have an 01 SD250 with a v10. 8 inches of lift and 37's. Truck used to get wheeled pretty hard and the last time i went i blew up the engine. Bottom end bearings were completely wiped out. Purchased a rebuild kit and a new crank with bearings to match. Put the engine together and double checked all the clearances. High flow oil pump from ford racing was installed. Engine is good. However, i finished it up this morning and ran the engine. had a code for a misfire and the iac valve. i replaced the coil and had to mess with the wiring for the iac to get it to idle. The truck is still missing/shaking/running real rough. When i go to start the truck as opposed to before when it would fire right up and the idle would settle down to about 850. Now it barely wants to start and idles really crappy. Attempted to test drive the truck and it has absolutely no power at all. I dont wanna keep throwing money at it. there is no cel on and it feels like its running on about 2 cylinders. i havent done any fuel pressure tests or anything like that. but to me it sounds like either a clogged fuel filter or weak fuel pump. just asking if anyone has any ideas on what to check, where to start. ive always been taught to keep things simple and im so flustered with this im on the verge of giving up. any insight would be greatly appreciated

What coil did you replace?

How long did the truck sit after blowing the engine?

Missing and running rough sounds like an ignition problem.

i replaced the coil for cylinder 4. it got damaged during rebuild. trucks been sitting for 2 months. if it was ignition related then the cel should come on

Not always, but even coil problems would not result in "no power" so I think it is something else.

I don't think it is a fuel supply problem like clogged fuel filter or weak fuel pump. That would would just limit the fuel above idle, not cause "missing/shaking/running real rough".

It sounds like it has to be something that changed as a result of the engine being pulled and re-installed (like the coil, maybe something else got bumped out of whack or broken). Perhaps the crank sensor or a cam sensor?

Check this thread or search for crank sensor in the V10 forum.

that makes a lot of sense. the sensor was sitting out exposed to the elements the whole time the motor has been out. can i possibly clean it or should i just replace it?

I would try cleaning it first. A can of cleaner is cheaper than a new sensor. When you clean it you may find it is cracked and have to replace it anyway.

Amazon has the oem Motorcraft sensor for $47 or you can get a different brand for less locally.

A can of MAF sensor cleaner is only $10 and should work on the crank sensor too (then you can also clean the MAF).
