Thumbs down Looking for a 2013 Green Gem XLT 4x4

I want my next new Ford to be the above mentioned Expy. I don't need any options but that it's a 4x4 and dark green.....and under $400 per month on a lease. After pricing some 2012s, I'm very dissappointed. Ford should offer better deals to LOYAL customers. Uh, $500-$600 per month(lease) isn't what I had in mind! What REALLY is the buyout on these suvs? I see 2011/2012 used ones on dealership lots for under 30K. After 18 Fords you'd think I'd be considered "family". Then again, I'm only kidding myself, loyalty means nothing.

I can only comment on your taste in vehicles. From an owner of a Gem Green '12 4x4 King Ranch Expy.

Your Expy sounds like a nice one. A King Ranch is way out of my price range, however.

Expecting a $400 lease is ridiculous for these rigs

They cost $38k for the XLT with basic options. A Limited model like the 2008 I had was $50,000 msrp

I suggest you set your sights lower to a Flex. Ford had a Lease incentive for them starting at $250/month. Price goes up depending on additional options.

That, or buy a used rig. 2007+ vehicles have 5yr/60,000 mile power train warranty. Look for a 2011 model with lower miles.

Aloha! First, let me say I appreciate your imput. Yes, I've looked into maybe a 2011, but I want a 2012 leftover or 2013 in Green Gem color like I stated earlier. I've given Ford Motor Company a lot of business for almost 30 years. Eighteen Fords(18). Extolling the virtues of Ford ownership over the years. Written(published) about Fords. Show and drag trophies with Ford. Now I ask you, Ford employees get a deep discount on new vehicles. I have a trade-in(a FORD-big surprise!!!) with about $2,000-3,000 in equity (an Escape),plus Expeditions(in my area have(supposedly....) a $4,000 factory discount, so it's NOT impossible to get what I want. Last trip to the Ford dealership we leased THREE new Fords at once. They didn't seem to mind our loyalty then. Went on Ford's website just now: 2013 4x2 Expy $475 per month for 24 months, and 2013 4x4 Expy $491 for 24 months($5,479 due at signing). Something could be worked out.....those three leases are coming up. Instead of worrying about the Toyota or GM owner that walks into a Ford showroom, prehaps worry about the Ford loyalist who continue to visit Ford dealerships.....and leave with vehicles! My family basically is putting Bill Ford's kids through college with all the money we've spent.
