"F-150 OEM Filter and Fluid Specs
First post contains Fluid specs. 2nd Post contains Filter specs.
Use Only Motorcraft Oil Filters and Transmission Filters.
Air Filters; it is acceptable to use any brand.

When it comes to engine oil filtes and transmission oil filters, nothing else can beat motorcraft.
The engine and transmission will degrade faster with a non OEM filter.



3.5L V6 Turbo


Engine Oil
6 Quarts
0W-30 / 5W-30 / 10W-30
Preferably 0W-30 or 5W-30


Transmission Oil
13.1 Quarts
Mercon LV


Coolant Fluid
16.5 Quarts
Motorcraft Specalty Orange Coolant



Rear Axle Oil
5.5 Pints or 2.75 Quarts
75W-140



Front Alxe Oil
3.5 Pints or 1.75 Quarts
75W-90


Transfercase Oil
1.6 Quarts
Motorcraft Transfercase Fluid

I like it, but what about the 5.4 V8 Triton? Is it the same as the 5.0?

Thanks for posting all the info...but I don't agree with your comment about Motorcraft filters. Wix and Hastings both make filters that trap a smaller particle than a regular Motorcraft.

What is the difference on the 6R80 transmission filters? Non-tow vs. tow package?

6R80 trans filters -2 filters, same trans?
What is the difference between the 2 filters listed? is one for the 4X2 and the other for the 4X4? Which is which?
