Update on Sweet old Bessie
I finally managed to get the cab painted and buffed out so the cab went on the chassis today. Now she is starting to look like a real truck. Maybe I can get her running now so she can move around on her own power instead of pushing her every where with my tractor. One pic is of the cab ready to go on and the other when it was on and ready to be pushed back into the shop.
I am getting real anxious now to get her going, but still a whole lot of work left to do.

The cab was totally stripped down, not a nut or bolt or screw left in so I really don't think it weighs a whole lot. I bought a 12V winch rated at 1000lb from Tractor Supply for $50 and it didn't even grunt or hesitate lifting it so I would imagine it is only a few hundred lbs at most.
The pics in my album span over 20 years that I have had Bessie. I bought her to help build my barn and the wife's shop. After that she sat for nearly 20 years until now. I will get her all prettied up and then she goes back to work here on my mini farm.

When we moved my cab from the paint booth back to the garage to put it on the chassis four people were able to carry it.
