glowshift gauges
I'm looking at getting some pilar gauges and found some from glowshift direct. They are the black 7 color gauges a set of 4 including the hardware for $285. These are a lot cheaper then anything else I've seen. Just wondering if anyone has used them and if they are any good?

I have the 3 white faced ones. They have 1 year warranty and I did have a problem with one but they had me send it in and sent a new one no questions, so yes they seem to be adequate. I also have a scan gauge 2 so I get the stuff from it that maybe a 4 guage is what you are looking at. I have fuel press, a pyro, and boost guages. scan guage gives everything else off the computer. Not sure how much the 3 pack are now but with a scan guage and 3 guages probably about as much as you are looking to spend and getting less info!

well I think you will need to ride in someones truck that has 4 gauges, the 3 I have are hard to read for the top one, thats why I put fuel press up there. I think that 4 guages just may be too much on a pillar and that you will probably not like them there. As I said you can get a 3 pod for $150, $150 for a scan guage and get more info to play with. I think you indicated you were going to spend around $300 on 4! Scan gauge can monitor about 30 items 4 at a time. except fuel press, egt.

I have the 4 pod Glowshift. Fuel Press, Low Press Oil, Boost, EGT
$275 shipped to Hawaii ($40 s/h surcharge). Search around Google and you can find a 20% coupon code.
Other than my EGT needle bouncing at higher RPM, they're good. I love the 7 colors. Currently have them set to red, and the Scangauge as well. Contrasts nicely with the green dash
As for seeing each gauge, I'm 6'3". I can see how a shorter guy would have issues. None here though

I use the SGII which shows everything, EXCEPT Fuel pressure & EGT.
I wanted to retain the grab handle, so I went with a single gauge pillar pod
but with a digital gauge with 2 readouts.
They are expensive, but I've very pleased.
Dual Gauges
Here's my thread with pictures of the install.

One thing I will say is my 0-100psi fuel pressure gauge is tempermantal. I have the sending unit relocator hose from what used to be ITP diesel (not sure what they are now....I think Sinister but anyway). Everything worked great for a long while then the needle starting erratically jumping and then pegged like a bad sending unit does. I ordered a new one ($15), problem solved. Now every once in a while the needle will behave erratic and peg to 100psi and back to ~70 where it normally sits with the spring upgrade (no change in idle, power delivery, smoke conditions etc) so I know it is not my fuel system .....so IMO this particaular gauge/sending unit is junk....all the rest I own (4) are great.
