79 f-100 front end sagging

Want to try and level out the truck.I put a floor jack under the body and jacked it up 3 inches to make it level. Does that mean my springs are shot. Will stock springs do the trick....Help

The front end being lower than the rear does not mean the springs are 'shot" although they may be. Someone could have built up the rear springs, quite common to see. If the fronts are weak you'll have a camber problem. Check all bushing. It may take some effort to determine exactly why your front end is lower than the rear.
Edit: There were several different spring ratings for this series truck.
