HPOP/RESERVOIR?

ok while pumping the reservoir to change my IPR the plastic straw piece from a soap pump fell into the reservoir. if i cant fish it out what are my options?
do i have to remove the HPOP to get into the reservoir?
hope u all help-ty

You can just remove the top of the res and fish it out.

Hopefully it didn't fall down there to far.

top meaning the top or the fill plug?
if it is the top is there a gasket....will i have to worry about leaks ect

It is an o-ring. Just check it to make sure it is still flexible.

so its an o-ring that sit up on top of the reservoir.
your not talking aboit the plug o-ring. rite?

The upper resivour is sealed to the timing cover with a oring type seal if you have to pull the resivour to remove the straw.i would replace the seal if i had it off.should be easily found.i replaced mine as it was leaking...320xxx mi.

so all i am doing is taking out those (5) long bolts?

Yep.pretty much.real easy to do.then u also can clean the hpop resivour good.i did mine and it is amazing how long clean oil stays nice after an oil change lol

I think there is one sensor maybe. Im not outside to look.i can go out if you need me to,
