cluster swap

Can a cluster with dummy lights for battery and oil be swapped into a truck with a cluster that has sweep gauges,, and work fine?

Besides the cluster, you'll need the wiring harness for a cluster w/Oil and Amp gauges.

Same cluster, same oil/amp gauges, same printed circuit board: 1978/79 F100/350 & Bronco / 1978/91 Econoline.

The original 1976/79 (1976/80 Econoline) cluster backs were made from a composition material that can TURN TO DUST before your very eyes!

1981: FoMoCo came out with hard plastic cluster backs. These were factory installed in 1981/91 (1981/86 with idiot lights) Econolines, were the 'service part replacements' for the POS composition clusters backs.

Some of the POS composition cluster backs have been replaced with the hard plastic cluster backs, some have not.
